Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City have agreed on a deal worth £75 million for Brazilian winger Savinho, with potential add-ons pushing the total package to £85 million. The 22-year-old is expected to undergo a medical in London before putting pen to paper on a long-term contract with Spurs. City rejected those approaches, holding firm on a higher valuation despite Savinho’s limited role in the first team. What changed was Savinho himself. The £75 million base fee represents a significant markup from what City originally paid for the Brazilian. They signed him from Troyes for approximately £31-34 million in July 2024.
