TradeXYZ Q2 trading volume rises 79% to $202B, equity perpetuals surge 377%

TradeXYZ just posted a quarter that would make most crypto exchanges jealous. The perpetual futures platform, built on Hyperliquid, saw its Q2 2026 trading volume climb 79.2% to $202.36 billion, powered by a 377% explosion in equity perpetual contracts that hit $58.9 billion over the same period. For a platform that only launched in October 2025, those numbers represent a meteoric rise. Cumulative trading volume has now surpassed $408 billion, with July 2026 alone on track to be TradeXYZ’s first $100 billion month. Equity perps are eating everything Equity perpetuals, contracts that let traders take leveraged long or short positions on individual stocks without expiration dates, accounted for $58.9 billion of the quarter’s activity. That’s nearly a fivefold increase from Q1. The bulk of that action centers on semiconductor and memory stocks. SK Hynix alone contributed roughly $23.4 billion to July’s trading volume, while Micron added another $8.9 billion.
