Uniswap Adds 13,137 New Addresses in Its Biggest Growth Spike Since 2020

Uniswap's latest address surge is its largest since 2020, but UNI still needs to defend $7 to keep recovery hopes alive. Network activity on Uniswap is climbing sharply as UNI’s price rises. According to Santiment, daily active addresses on the network reached 14,591, the highest level in a year. The network also added 13,137 new UNI addresses, which happens to be its biggest growth spike since September 2020. Network Is Heating Up The increase comes after several ecosystem upgrades, including Aggregator Hooks and VolatilePair Hooks. VolatilePair Hook was launched on October 14, debuting with the ETH/USDC pool on Ethereum mainnet. Designed for Uniswap v4, it replaces static swap fees with market-responsive dynamic fees. By recalculating separate buy and sell fees on every swap based on recent price movements, the hook aims to reduce liquidity providers’ exposure to arbitrage losses during periods of market volatility.
