Unusual Whales launches options trading app on Robinhood’s AI Agent Marketplace

Robinhood just turned its AI trading agents into something closer to a smartphone: now you can install apps on them. And Unusual Whales, the options analytics platform known for tracking congressional stock trades and unusual market activity, is one of the first to set up shop. The company launched its Options Trader app on Robinhood’s Agent Apps marketplace at the HOOD Summit in Houston on September 29. For $30 a month, Robinhood users can plug Unusual Whales’ real-time options data and unusual activity detection directly into the AI agents that already live inside the Robinhood app. What the app actually does The app surfaces options flow data and flags unusual trading activity, the kind of signals that institutional desks have monitored for years but retail traders have historically struggled to access. By feeding this data through Robinhood’s Model Context Protocol servers, the AI agents can incorporate it into their analysis alongside other market information.
