Whales accumulate 240M ADA, fueling 22% price surge

Someone, or rather a lot of someones, really likes Cardano right now. Wallets holding between 100 million and 1 billion ADA accumulated over 240 million tokens in the span of five days, a haul worth approximately $175 million at current prices. The buying spree coincided with a 22% jump in ADA’s price. What the whales are doing ADA is currently trading around $0.19, with recent daily gains clocking in at 8-9%. This isn’t an isolated event. Throughout 2026, large holders have been on a sustained buying trend. During one six-month stretch earlier this year, whales and so-called “sharks” (slightly smaller large holders) added almost 820 million ADA to their wallets.
