XRP Ledger Gets a New Use Case as Ripple Teams Up With C2FO

Ripple is expanding XRP Ledger adoption through two deals, bringing faster supplier payments with C2FO and institutional custody services with BNY. Ripple is teaming up with C2FO to bring faster business payments to the XRP Ledger. On October 27, the two companies announced an initiative to use XRPL and RLUSD to settle payments under C2FO Instant Pay. The service aims to help suppliers receive funds in seconds instead of waiting days for bank transfers to clear. Faster Business Payments According to the official blog post, the initiative targets a gap in traditional business payments. Even when suppliers receive early payment on approved invoices, bank transfers can delay access to the funds. By moving settlement to the XRPL, C2FO intends to cut that wait to seconds. Participating capital providers will fund the payments, while XRPL will handle settlement. The arrangement will not change existing invoice terms or payment due dates. Instead, it focuses on how quickly suppliers receive their money. RLUSD is central to the plan.
