Anthropic prepares Claude Money feature for iOS app launch

Anthropic is building a personal finance tool directly into its Claude iOS app, one that would let users connect their bank accounts and hand the AI persistent access to their transaction data. The feature, called Claude Money, was discovered through unreleased interface components spotted during app testing on September 14, 2026. The feature introduces a dedicated “Money” tab within the Claude iOS app. Users would be able to link bank accounts directly, giving Claude ongoing access to financial data rather than requiring one-off uploads of bank statements or CSV files. With that persistent connection, Claude could analyze spending patterns, flag recurring payments, summarize account balances, and visualize financial trends over time. The key differentiator here is the elimination of manual data entry. Existing personal finance workflows with AI typically require users to export statements and paste them into a chat window.
