AWS and Cognition partner to bring Devin’s AI engineering agent to enterprise modernization

Migrating a decades-old COBOL codebase is roughly as fun as it sounds. It is expensive, slow, and prone to the kind of errors that make engineers age rapidly. Cognition and AWS think their partnership, centered on the autonomous AI agent Devin, can change that calculus significantly. Devin is now available through the AWS Marketplace, giving enterprise customers a path to deploy an AI agent that handles the full software engineering lifecycle: planning, writing, testing, and delivering production-ready pull requests without a human doing the heavy lifting at each step.
