Binance has recruited two senior compliance executives from rival exchange Crypto.com, a move that signals the company is still actively trying to shore up what has been, to put it diplomatically, a turbulent compliance operation. The hires come after a string of departures from Binance’s compliance and financial-crime monitoring teams earlier in 2026, and against the backdrop of a regulatory reckoning that began with the exchange’s guilty plea in 2023 over sanctions and anti-money-laundering violations in the US.
