Bitcoin ETF inflows near $1B as average holder moves back into profit

US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $998.95 million in net inflows on Monday, their strongest day since October 2025, as Bitcoin climbed above $86,000. BlackRock’s IBIT led with $381.37 million, followed by Ark and 21Shares’ ARKB with $289.12 million and Fidelity’s FBTC with $238.84 million. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT added $61.67 million, while Bitwise’s BITB took in $21.56 million. The surge marked a sharp reversal from the previous week, when the funds recorded just $6.2 million in net inflows, the smallest weekly total across 141 weeks of trading. Bitcoin’s rally also pushed the asset above the estimated average ETF holder cost basis of $81,722, putting the average US spot Bitcoin ETF investor back in profit for the first time since January, according to Bloomberg Intelligence analyst James Seyffart. Bitcoin traded around $86,300 on Tuesday, roughly 5% above that estimated cost basis. ETF trading volume reached about $4.5 billion on Monday. Seyffart noted that the figure was not particularly elevated given Bitcoin’s price move, while Eric Balchunas said ETF flows recorded for Monday likely reflected buying activity from Friday.
