Two of the most influential figures in artificial intelligence will appear at the same conference this month, just not in the same room. Dreamforce 2026, Salesforce’s flagship event running September 15 through 17 at San Francisco’s Moscone Center, will feature separate appearances by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei. The event is expected to draw more than 43,000 attendees. Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff is positioning the conference around themes of AI governance, safety, and the practical deployment of AI agents in business.
