EDX Markets has plugged into the Fireblocks Network Link, giving institutional clients a direct path to move assets and manage liquidity without rebuilding their existing operational workflows from scratch. The integration, announced September 9, connects EDX’s trading venue and central clearinghouse directly to Fireblocks’ network, letting clients fund accounts, rebalance liquidity, and transfer digital assets all within the same operational stack they already use. Why the plumbing matters EDX CEO Tony Acuña-Rohter put it plainly, saying the firm aims to address the operational challenges faced by regulated firms as they expand into digital assets. The Fireblocks integration is meant to close that gap by letting clients treat digital asset transfers as a native extension of their current processes rather than a parallel operation requiring separate oversight. EDX’s clearinghouse already offers single-net settlement for spot trading, which reduces the number of individual transactions a firm needs to execute to square its books.
