Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has awarded Elon Musk the Order of Freedom, one of the country’s most prestigious state honors reserved for foreign nationals. Presidential Decree No. 835/2026, signed on August 26, 2026, cited Musk’s “significant contributions to protecting human life and freedom” and his role in strengthening US-Ukraine relations.
