Sending money across borders in 2026 is still weirdly difficult. You can beam a stablecoin from New York to Nairobi in seconds, but converting it into Kenyan shillings that actually land in someone’s M-Pesa wallet? That’s where things get messy. Fin.com, a New York-based payments infrastructure startup, just raised $20 million to fix exactly that problem. The seed round, which closed in August, was led by Expa and Uber co-founder Garrett Camp. Coinbase Ventures and Tenet Fund also participated. Fin.com announced its emergence from stealth on September 15, positioning itself as the plumbing layer that lets fintechs and enterprises move money globally using a hybrid of stablecoins and local banking rails. Bridging stablecoins and the real world Fin.com’s core product is a white-label solution that lets businesses collect, convert, and distribute funds. The platform supports more than 40 currencies and offers payouts across over 30 countries, targeting regions where remittance flows are heaviest: South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
