Fin raises $20M in seed funding led by Garrett Camp’s Expa to build stablecoin payments infrastructure

A payments startup called Fin.com just pulled in $20 million in seed funding to build the plumbing that connects stablecoins to the messy, fragmented world of local banking systems. The round was led by Expa, the venture studio founded by Uber co-founder Garrett Camp, with Coinbase Ventures, Tenet Fund, and sovereign family offices from the Gulf and Africa also writing checks. The New York-based company emerged from stealth on September 15, having quietly closed the round in August. Its pitch: white-label infrastructure that lets enterprises collect, convert, and distribute funds by stitching together stablecoins with local payment rails and digital wallets. The platform already supports payouts in more than 30 countries and across over 40 currencies.
