Fireblocks integrates with Bitpace to enhance stablecoin settlements

London-based crypto payment gateway Bitpace has integrated Fireblocks’ infrastructure to bolster its cross-border stablecoin settlement capabilities. The move is designed to let merchants and businesses send and receive payments, particularly in USDC, without routing through the sluggish correspondent banking system that most international transactions still depend on. What the integration actually does Bitpace, which was founded in 2016, operates as a crypto payment gateway that supports transactions across more than 70 different tokens. Its core product lets merchants accept crypto payments with automatic conversion into fiat currencies like USD and EUR, or into stablecoins like USDC. The company claims monthly transaction volumes exceeding $1 billion. Fireblocks, the New York-based infrastructure provider founded in 2018, brings a different set of tools to the table.
