Gatik raises $200M Series D led by Qatar Investment Authority and Koch Disruptive Technologies

Autonomous trucking company Gatik has closed a $200 million Series D round, its largest financing to date, with the Qatar Investment Authority and Koch Disruptive Technologies leading the deal. Millennium Management and ARK Invest also participated, adding a mix of sovereign wealth, industrial capital, and tech-forward asset managers to the cap table. The round closed on August 25, 2026, and brings Gatik’s total outside capital to approximately $352–375 million since the company was founded in 2017. What Gatik actually does Gatik operates autonomous Class 6 and Class 7 box trucks on what the industry calls middle-mile routes: the short, repeated runs between a retailer’s distribution center and its stores. The routes are fixed, predictable, and run dozens of times a day, which makes them far easier to automate than long-haul or last-mile delivery. In January 2026, Gatik said it became the first company to operate sustained, revenue-generating, fully driverless freight routes at scale in North America.
