AI data centers have a power problem that most people don’t think about. The computational demands of training and running large language models don’t just require enormous amounts of electricity. They require that electricity to behave in ways the grid was never designed to handle. GE Vernova’s answer is a new Medium Voltage Uninterruptible Power Supply, or MV-UPS, built specifically for the kind of electrical chaos that AI factories create.
