Hyperliquid is getting the black-tie treatment. The decentralized perpetuals exchange, which launched in 2023 and has quietly built one of crypto’s most active trading venues, will host its first major institutional forum on October 6 at Singapore’s Raffles Hotel, with Grayscale and HyperLink among the co-hosts. The event lands during TOKEN2049 Singapore Week. More than 120 institutional attendees from 95 firms across 16 countries are expected to walk through the doors, with roughly 60 of them classified as allocators managing assets north of $1 billion. What the forum actually is The Hyperliquid Forum is structured as a full-day institutional summit. The agenda centers on topics including custody risk, liquidity at scale, and regulatory frameworks for on-chain derivatives. Hyperliquid operates a decentralized on-chain central limit order book, running an order-matching engine directly on its own Layer-1 blockchain, processing trades without gas fees.
