Hyperscale Data (NYSE American: GPUS) announced that its combined Bitcoin, cash, and restricted cash holdings total approximately $51 million as of September 13. That figure is worth about 136% of the company’s market capitalization as of the following day, which is the kind of math that makes value investors do a double take. The company reported holding 216.9480 BTC valued at roughly $16.7 million, calculated using a Bitcoin price of $76,838.16 per coin. The remaining $34.3 million sits in cash and restricted cash, giving the firm a liquidity cushion that dwarfs its equity valuation. A treasury bigger than the company itself Ault emphasized that this liquidity affords the company a strong position as it pursues AI infrastructure projects while simultaneously engaging in Bitcoin mining. The company operates through its Sentinum subsidiary, which runs a data center in Michigan focused on both AI colocation and hosting services alongside Bitcoin mining operations.
