Jito BAM preconfirmations go live, boosting revenue for Solana validators

Solana validators just got a raise. Jito’s BAM preconfirmations launched on September 9, creating a new revenue layer for validators willing to stream committed transaction data to traders and applications hungry for speed. The system already covers more than 34% of Solana’s total network stake, thanks to launch partnerships with infrastructure providers Helius and Triton. How the revenue split works BAM preconfirmations pipe a low-latency stream of transactions that participating validators have already executed. Traders doing arbitrage or market making, where a 10-millisecond advantage can mean the difference between profit and loss, are the obvious customers. Early testing showed a 5-10ms advantage at the p50 latency mark. The economics follow a clean three-way split. Distribution partners like Helius and Triton take 30% of revenue generated. BAM validators receive 35%, allocated proportionally based on their stake weight through priority fees. The remaining 35% flows to the Jito DAO treasury.
