Kamui Finance launches three institutional real-world asset vaults on Ethereum

Kamui Finance, a firm founded in 2024 and registered in the Marshall Islands, has rolled out three institutional-grade vaults on Ethereum designed to give large allocators streamlined access to tokenized real-world assets. The vaults pull together offerings from four established RWA platforms: DigiFT, Centrifuge, Midas, and Ondo. How the vaults work Each vault issues its own token built to the ERC-7540 standard, a relatively new specification designed for tokenized vault shares that need to handle asynchronous deposit and redemption flows. In plainer terms, ERC-7540 lets the vault accept deposit requests, process them off-chain or through compliance checks, and then settle, rather than requiring instant atomic transactions that don’t play well with real-world settlement timelines. Kamui’s vault strategies target private credit, real estate debt, trade finance, structured credit, and US Treasuries. These are asset classes where settlement can take days, counterparty checks are mandatory, and instant on-chain redemption would be either impractical or legally impossible.
