KyberSwap launches Reality-issued rTokens for eligible users

KyberSwap has added support for Reality-issued rTokens, giving eligible users the ability to trade tokenized versions of US stocks and ETFs through the decentralized exchange aggregator. The integration connects one of DeFi’s veteran trading platforms with a rapidly growing catalog of equity-linked tokens that already spans more than 1,700 securities. Reality’s rTokens are ERC-20 tokens backed 1:1 by actual equities held in custody through Alpaca Securities, with daily third-party attestations conducted by The Network Firm to verify reserves. What rTokens actually are Each token, whether it’s rNVDA representing Nvidia shares or rTSLA representing Tesla, tracks its underlying equity with a 1:1 economic exposure model. When someone mints an rToken, a corresponding share sits in custody. When they burn it, the share gets released. The whole system coordinates liquidity with major exchanges like Nasdaq and NYSE through a mint-and-burn mechanism. The tokens live on the Arbitrum and Morph networks.
