Manchester United faces impasse in Bruno Fernandes contract negotiations

Manchester United’s most important contract negotiation of the season is not going smoothly. Bruno Fernandes, the club’s captain and creative engine, remains locked in a standoff with the club over the terms of a new deal, with no agreement in sight despite months of back-and-forth. Fernandes’ current contract runs until the summer of 2027, and United hold a club option for an additional year beyond that.
