Meta just did something unusual for a company that has spent the better part of a decade trying to put cameras on people’s faces: it removed the camera. The Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses, unveiled at Meta Connect 2026 on September 23, are the company’s first smart glasses without any visual recording capability.
