Nvidia launches Jetson Orin Nano Super, its $249 edge AI computer for robotics

Nvidia just made its cheapest path into robotics AI significantly more powerful. The company has released the Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit, an upgraded version of its entry-level edge computing platform that pushes AI performance from 40 TOPS to 67 TOPS, all while keeping the price at $249. That 1.7x performance jump is the kind of upgrade that usually comes with a new product generation and a higher price tag. Instead, Nvidia managed to squeeze it out of the same hardware platform, meaning existing Orin Nano owners can unlock the boost through a JetPack software update. No new silicon required.
