NXP reportedly in talks to acquire Ambarella, signaling deeper push into automotive AI chips

NXP Semiconductors is reportedly negotiating to acquire Ambarella, a specialist in edge-AI vision processors, in a deal that would significantly bolster the Dutch chipmaker’s position in the autonomous driving market.
