Ripple partners with SettleMint to give banks a one-stop shop for tokenized assets

Ripple and SettleMint have joined forces to build what amounts to a unified control center for banks dealing with tokenized assets. The partnership integrates Ripple Custody with SettleMint’s Digital Asset Lifecycle Platform, giving regulated financial institutions a single system to issue, store, and manage digital assets without juggling a half-dozen vendors. The collaboration is initially targeting Asia Pacific, with plans to expand into other regions as demand grows. What the integration actually does Ripple Custody handles the storage and security side, using hardware security modules and multi-party computation to keep institutional-grade assets locked down. SettleMint’s DALP covers everything else in the asset lifecycle, from design and issuance to permissioning and post-issuance servicing.
