Ripple stablecoin chief sees $13T opportunity for RLUSD in corporate treasury

Ripple is sitting on a $13 trillion pipeline, and it just figured out how to plug its stablecoin into it. The company’s Treasury platform, built on the back of its $1 billion acquisition of GTreasury in October 2025, processed $13 trillion in payments volume last year. None of that involved stablecoins or crypto of any kind. From fiat pipes to digital asset rails On April 1, 2026, Ripple rolled out two major upgrades to the platform: native Digital Asset Accounts and a Unified Treasury feature. The practical effect is that a CFO can now manage RLUSD and XRP alongside traditional fiat currencies in a single dashboard with real-time valuations. The platform connects to more than 13,000 banks and serves over 1,000 customers ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Ripple Treasury SVP Renaat Ver Eecke framed the moment succinctly, noting that “digital assets have reached the CFO’s desk.” The new capabilities target liquidity management specifically, an area where speed and settlement efficiency can translate directly into cost savings for large enterprises managing cross-border cash flows.
