Robinhood takes stakes in Crypto.com and its prediction markets business

Robinhood is negotiating a deal with Crypto.com that would bring the crypto platform’s yes-or-no event contracts into Robinhood’s prediction markets hub, alongside an equity stake in Crypto.com. The talks, first reported by The Wall Street Journal, represent another aggressive move by the brokerage to cement itself as the go-to aggregator for prediction market trading. The partnership would add Crypto.com to a growing roster of contract suppliers that already includes Kalshi, Interactive Brokers’ ForecastEx, and Rothera, a prediction exchange Robinhood launched through a joint venture with Susquehanna International Group in 2025. A business line that’s scaling fast In 2026, the platform has already recorded over 16 billion event contracts traded, surpassing the more than 12 billion contracts traded across all of 2025. Over one million users are now actively participating on Robinhood’s prediction markets platform in 2026. Bernstein analysts have projected that prediction market revenues could reach roughly $1.7 billion annually by 2028.
