Runway hits $200M ARR, doubling revenue in five months

Generative AI video company Runway has crossed $200 million in annual recurring revenue, reaching that milestone after doubling its revenue in roughly five months. The company added $40 million in net new ARR in Q2 2026 alone. For context, the company was sitting at an estimated $84 million ARR at the end of 2024. Enterprise is doing the heavy lifting Runway’s acceleration is almost entirely enterprise-driven, with major companies embedding its tools into professional production pipelines across media, advertising, and gaming. A Fortune 20 company using Runway’s platform recorded 17x usage growth. Net Revenue Retention above 300% tells the same story in aggregate. NRR measures how much existing customers expand their spending over time, and anything above 120% is generally considered strong. Above 300% means Runway’s existing customers are, on average, tripling what they spend. Partnerships with Amazon, Microsoft, and Adobe have helped establish Runway as a credible enterprise vendor.
