SECZ records $29M market cap increase, leads tokenized stocks sector

SECZ, the tokenized stock representing Securitize Corp. shares, added $29.2 million to its onchain market cap in a single move, cementing its position as the frontrunner in a sector that barely existed two years ago. Three tokenized variants of Circle Internet Group stock, collectively tracked as CRCL tokens, weren’t far behind. They posted a combined gain of $36.9 million. From under $20M to $3.1B in two years The broader tokenized stocks market recently hit an all-time high onchain market cap of $3.1 billion. For context, this same sector was sitting below $20 million in late 2024. The expansion has been powered primarily by activity on BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Solana, with the latter playing an especially prominent role in SECZ’s tokenization architecture. Avalanche has also carved out a meaningful niche, serving as a secondary chain for Securitize’s tokenized common stock. SECZ itself launched with an initial onchain value of approximately $270.6 million when Securitize first tokenized its shares.
