Solana crosses $3T in cumulative DEX volume

Solana’s cumulative decentralized exchange volume has officially crossed the $3 trillion mark. To put that number in perspective, $3 trillion is roughly the annual GDP of France. A significant chunk of that volume materialized in 2025 alone, with approximately $1.95 trillion in spot trading activity plus additional contributions from perpetual contracts. That means more than half of Solana’s all-time DEX volume was generated in a single year. Where the volume is coming from Stablecoin swaps, tokenized assets, and derivative trading have all contributed meaningful volume alongside speculative token trading. Raydium has been the workhorse of Solana’s DEX landscape. The automated market maker processed over $530B in volume during 2024, then followed that up with roughly $642B in 2025. The network’s share of global spot DEX volume has fluctuated between 30% and 50% at various points, a remarkable range considering Solana’s overall smart-contract market cap remains relatively modest compared to Ethereum.
