Haetae, the top laner for T1 Esports Academy, has signed with Shadow Corporation, one of the most prominent esports talent agencies operating across the LCK and LPL ecosystems. The move signals that one of Korean League of Legends’ more intriguing development prospects is gearing up for a bigger stage. Shadow Corporation represents over 100 players across the LCK and LPL, South Korea’s and China’s premier League of Legends leagues respectively. A playoff run that turned heads T1 Esports Academy qualified for the LCK Challengers League playoffs and then proceeded to dismantle KT with a clean 3-0 sweep to take the title on September 15, 2026. Haetae, who previously competed under the names star and Caesar, joined T1’s academy roster on November 27, 2024. His contract with T1 runs through November 16, 2026, which means he’s approaching a decision point.
