Tabby, the Saudi Arabia-based fintech that started life as a buy-now-pay-later platform, just pulled in $233 million in equity funding at a $6.5 billion post-money valuation. The round was led by Blue Pool Capital, the Hong Kong investment vehicle that manages money for Alibaba co-founder Joseph Tsai. That valuation marks a steep climb from the $4.5 billion price tag Tabby carried during a secondary share sale in October 2025. Go back a little further, to late 2023, and the company was valued at $1.5 billion. So in roughly three years, Tabby has more than quadrupled its valuation. Who’s writing the checks Blue Pool Capital led the round, with participation from HSG, Wellington Management, and Arbor Ventures. Wellington is one of the world’s largest independent investment management firms. The funding reportedly includes liquidity options for employees. There’s a regulatory wrinkle, too.
