Short-term Treasury yields have been remarkably stable over the past several weeks, oscillating between 3.7% and 4.0% throughout August and into September 2026. Bid-to-cover ratios for recent auctions have hovered between 2.6x and 3.0x, meaning investors collectively offered to buy 2.6 to 3.0 times more than the Treasury was offering. These auctions use a uniform-price Dutch format, meaning every winning bidder pays the same yield regardless of what they individually offered.
