VistaShares’ Artificial Intelligence Supercycle ETF, trading under the ticker AIS, has crossed $1 billion in assets under management. For a fund that launched in early December 2024, that’s a growth trajectory most ETF issuers would trade a kidney for. The milestone, announced on September 9, puts AIS in rare company. Most new ETFs struggle to gather $100 million in their first couple of years. AIS blew past $350 million by late April 2026 and then nearly tripled that figure in a matter of months. The ‘Bill of Materials’ approach What separates AIS from the crowded field of AI-themed funds is its investment philosophy. Rather than loading up on the usual suspects, the mega-cap software and platform companies that dominate most AI ETFs, AIS targets the entire AI infrastructure supply chain. VistaShares calls this its “Bill of Materials” approach, and it’s patent-pending. That means the portfolio skews heavily toward semiconductors, memory chips, and data center hardware.
