X expands cashtags with trading access through Coinbase, Kraken and Interactive Brokers

Sep. 15, 2026 X has launched its Cashtag Partner Program in the US, allowing users to move from financial conversations on the platform directly to participating brokerages. At launch, supported brokerage partners include Interactive Brokers, Moomoo, Gemini, Kraken and Coinbase. Cashtags on X turn ticker symbols for stocks, ETFs and cryptocurrencies into interactive destinations containing price information and related posts. Under the new program, supported Cashtags will also include a Trade option linking users to participating brokerages. Users can tap a Cashtag to view the asset’s price chart and related posts, then select a brokerage partner and log in or create an account to complete the transaction on the brokerage platform. X said the program is designed to connect financial discovery and market discussion with the ability to act on that information without requiring users to separately search for a brokerage.
