X launches US Cashtag program with five brokerage partners

X has introduced the X Cashtag Partner Program in the US, giving users a way to trade assets through partner brokerages directly after discovering and discussing them on the platform. The program launched Tuesday with Interactive Brokers, Moomoo, Gemini, Kraken and Coinbase.’ “With our Cashtag partners, we’re connecting the financial conversation to action. People come to X to discover what’s happening, shape the conversation, and act in real-time on what matters to them,” Monique Pintarelli, SpaceXAI’s head of global advertising, said. “Our Cashtag partners make it possible to move seamlessly from discovery and conversation to a brokerage, without breaking the moment.” Cashtags convert ticker symbols for stocks, ETFs and crypto into interactive pages with real-time market information and related X posts. X stated that users can tap on a supported Cashtag to view the asset’s price chart and conversation, then select “Trade” to be directed to a participating brokerage, where they can sign in or register before completing the transaction.
