Zankore, a neocloud platform focused on AI compute, has locked down a senior term loan facility worth up to $3.1 billion to deploy GPU infrastructure across Indonesia and Southeast Asia. The deal, announced on September 9, represents one of the largest AI infrastructure financings the Asia-Pacific region has ever seen. It’s also the first syndicated transaction of this scale in APAC’s AI sector. The money and who’s behind it Citi served as the exclusive debt adviser on the transaction. The lending consortium includes ING, Natixis CIB, Qatar National Bank, and UOB as mandated lead arrangers. This isn’t Zankore’s first major capital event. The platform launched just a month earlier in August 2026, backed by Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Ooredoo Group, NVIDIA, and Nokia. Ooredoo Group alone committed roughly $800 million for a 49% stake during that launch. Combined with the new debt facility, Zankore now has nearly $4 billion in committed capital.
