Legal AI startup Legora seeks funding at $8.5B valuation, up over 50% in months

Legora, the legal AI platform that most lawyers probably couldn’t have named two years ago, is now in discussions to raise at least $300 million at a pre-money valuation of roughly $8.5 billion. That would represent a jump of more than 50% from its $5.55 billion Series D valuation just six months ago. From Leya to Legora to legal AI juggernaut The Stockholm-based company, which rebranded from Leya in early 2025, has been on a fundraising tear that would make most enterprise SaaS founders weep with envy. In March 2026, Legora closed a $550 million Series D led by Accel and Benchmark at a $5.55 billion valuation. Just weeks later, in April, the company tacked on a $50 million extension, pushing the post-money figure to $5.6 billion. What’s driving the confidence is a revenue story that actually backs up the hype. Legora crossed $100 million in annual recurring revenue within roughly 18 months of launching.
